MLC Kavitha is back in active politics

BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has become active again in state politics. She was in jail for many days in the liquor case… She was released from Tihar Jail in August. She spent more than 160 days in jail. After being released from jail, Kavitha was confined to her home. BRS sources said that she was taking treatment and taking rest due to various health problems. However, Kavitha has become active again recently.

Kavitha, who entered politics with the formation of Telangana Jagruti… has become a key leader in TRS. She contested the 2014 parliamentary elections from Nizamabad and won as an MP. However, she was defeated in the 2019 elections. This development did not only affect her… it also shocked the BRS party. After that, Kavitha contested as a BRS candidate in the joint Nizamabad district local bodies MLC by-election and won. She is currently an MLC.

 

There was a lot of discussion about what direction Kavitha would take after her release from jail. In fact, even before her arrest… Kavitha focused on some issues. She especially fought on issues like BC caste census and implementation of women's reservation. She also held protests in Delhi. On the other hand, the investigation in the liquor case accelerated. It is known that due to this, ED officials… arrested Kavitha in Hyderabad and shifted her to Delhi.

 

Strengthening awareness

Kavitha, who came out of jail, was confined to her home for many days. She has been active in politics for the past few days. She is taking steps towards strengthening the Jagruti organization formed during the movement. As part of this, district-wise meetings are being held. Meetings have already been completed with many district leaders. New awareness committees will also be formed soon.

 

Fighting against BC issues

Kavitha is now mainly focusing on the caste census of BCs. As part of this, a Phule print has also been set up. They are demanding that a statue of Phule be installed in the assembly. It is known that a dedicated commission has been formed on the caste census. However, Kavitha, who went with the leaders of BC associations, also submitted a special report to the dedicated commission. The steps to be taken in the BC caste census were brought to the attention of the commission. Kavitha requested that recommendations be made to ensure that BCs get population-based reservations in local bodies and to increase BC reservations in education and jobs.

 

Meanwhile, Kavitha is meeting with the leaders of BC associations every day. It seems that she is asking about the problems of BCs and deliberating on future programs. They are preparing activities to fight for the rights of BCs from the streets to Delhi in the future.

 

On the other hand, Kavitha is also participating in BRS party programs. She recently attended Deeksha Diwas. Recently, when former minister Harish Rao was arrested and taken to the station, Kavitha also went there. She visited Harish Rao and other leaders. They are also increasing the attack of criticism by targeting the Revanth government in the state. Kavitha… has also come under fire over the change of the statue of Telangana Talli. She expressed her anger that changing the statue of Telangana Talli is not appropriate for CM Revanth Reddy. Kavitha held an innovative protest at the statue in Telangana Bhavan. She made it clear that the hand sign does not approve of the mother.

 

The BRS, which is in the opposition, is aggressively moving forward against the Congress government. On one side, KTR, on the other hand, Harish Rao… are raining questions on the government. In this context, BRS ranks and fans are expressing joy as Kavitha also made a re-entry.

 

Many are saying that Kavitha will be active in taking up key programs in the party, in addition to the issues of BCs. They are thinking that this will attract BCs. Analyses suggest that this will also increase the mileage of the BRS party. It seems that Kavitha will fight on issues by the next election.
