Adilabad Police Seize 290 Kg of Ganja: Police conducted checks at Wankidi Interstate Check Post of Kumuram Bhim district on Thursday evening. The tanker lorry driver who was going to Madhya Pradesh from Rajamahendravaram looked suspicious. The vehicle was stopped near the check post and checked completely. The police found and seized 290 kg of ganja in specially made shelves in the middle of the tanker. Its value is said to be Rs.72.50 lakhs. Police arrested the driver.

There is an interstate check post near Wankidi in Kumuram Bhim district. However, police inspections were arranged on Thursday evening. In this order, a tanker came that way. The tanker was going from Rajamahendravaram in Andhra Pradesh to Madhya Pradesh. As the lorry driver looked suspicious, the vehicle was stopped near the check post and checked. Then the original clump emerged.

 

In the middle of this tanker, specially made shelves keep the cannabis. 290 kg of ganja was found and seized. The police said that its value is Rs.72.50 lakhs. The police said that the driver Balveer Singh has been arrested and the main accused will be arrested. The SP of Adilabad district congratulated the police personnel who caught the ganja.

 

As the driver of container lorry tanker number MP 06.c1339 looked suspicious, the police personnel stopped the vehicle and checked it. 145 ganja packets of 2 kg each containing 290 kg of ganja were found in the container. The value of this is Rs. 72.50 lakhs. The police said that Balveer Singh, the driver who was transporting ganja, has been arrested. They are hunting for the real gang behind this ganja affair.
