Telangana Indiramma houses: App launched for selection of Indiramma houses beneficiaries in Telangana, special package in ITDA areas
Telangana Indiramma houses: CM Revanth Reddy launched the Indiramma houses beneficiary selection program in Telangana. This year, 3500 houses will be constructed in each constituency. Beneficiaries will be selected for the construction of houses through gram sabhas. Details will have to be registered in the app.
Telangana Indiramma houses: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy
along with ministers launched a mobile app for the selection of beneficiaries
for the Indiramma houses scheme at the Telangana Secretariat. As part of the
Congress election promises, 4.5 lakh houses will be constructed across the
state this year. Rs. 22,500 crores will be spent for this this year. 3500
houses will be allotted to each constituency through this scheme. Through this
scheme, beneficiaries can construct a 400 square feet house at a cost of Rs. 5 lakhs.
The government will provide assistance of Rs. 5 lakhs to each beneficiary.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the credit of
providing the first opportunity to people in the country to live with
self-respect goes to Indira Gandhi. He said that there is no village in this
country without an Indiramma colony. He said that Indira Gandhi established
self-respect by providing land rights to Dalits and Adivasis. He said that
millions of acres of agricultural land in the country have been given to the
poor and Dalits because of Indira Gandhi.
A mobile app has been prepared to identify beneficiaries
based on the applications received in the public administration for the
construction of Indiramma houses. Revanth Reddy said that the houses are being
constructed using technology so that only the deserving ones get houses based
on artificial intelligence after examining the applications received in the
public administration. Beneficiaries will have to register their details in the
Indiramma Houses app.
In addition to the assistance provided by the government,
beneficiaries can build houses of their own choice. The CM clarified that there
are no restrictions and they can build the design of the houses as they like.
He said that four and a half lakh houses will be built in the state in the
first year, 3500 houses per constituency. He said that administrative approval
has also been given.
Revanth Reddy announced that special houses will be
constructed for the tribals and the tribal people within the limits of ITDAs.
He said that the construction of Indiramma houses for Gonds and tribal families
will be constructed additionally regardless of this scheme. He said that a
special package will be provided in ITDA areas. Revanth Reddy said that a model
house will be built for house construction in each mandal center. He said that
the beneficiaries can see those houses and finalize the design of their houses.
