Telangana Assembly Session: The Governor has issued a
notification that the Telangana Assembly sessions will be held from December 9.
These sessions have assumed importance in the context of the one year since the
Congress government was formed in Telangana. The number of days the assembly
sessions will be held will be decided in the BAC meeting to be held on the 9th
of this month.
CM Revanth Reddy announced that Rythu Bharosa funds will be
released after Sankranti in Telangana. The cabinet sub-committee formed to
formulate Rythu Bandhu procedures has already prepared a report containing
several issues. These issues were discussed in the assembly and it was decided
that Rythu Bharosa should be provided only to eligible farmers.
Along with the new ROR law to be introduced in Telangana,
there is a possibility of introducing the statistics from the ongoing caste
census survey across the state in the Assembly. CM Revanth Reddy appealed to
the Leader of the Opposition KCR to come to the Assembly sessions in
Peddapalli. Will KCR come to the Assembly sessions? Or not? It is also creating
excitement.
The Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council meetings
are scheduled to begin on Monday, December 9th at 10.30 am. In the backdrop of
the completion of a year since the Congress government was formed in Telangana.
The Assembly sessions are likely to become juicy. There is a possibility of
discussion in the House on key issues such as the Congress party's one-year
rule, loan waiver, Hydra, Musi Prakashalana, and farmer assurance.
To put the government in a tight spot in Telangana, the
opposition is likely to insist on discussions on issues such as food poisoning
cases in Gurukul schools, the Lagacharla incident, farmer assurance, and bonus.
Since the formation of the Congress government in Telangana,
KCR has attended the assembly session only once. KCR, who attended the assembly
during the budget presentation, left before the session ended. Will KCR attend
the assembly sessions this time or not? It has become interesting to see what
the reaction will be from the government leaders who attended the assembly
sessions if KCR does. It will create more interest.
