Telangana Pension: The Telangana government is taking some good decisions regarding the Divyangs from time to time. Thus, the Divyangs are being able to take a step forward. There is joy over the recent announcement made by Minister Seethakka regarding pension.

During the Telangana Assembly elections. the Congress party made a key announcement regarding pensions. That is the previous BRS government gave pension of Rs. 2,000 to the elderly, widows, and beedi workers and Rs. 4,000 to the Divyangs when they came to power, they said that they would increase the pension from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 4,000 and also the pension of the Divyangs from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 6,000. But they have not done so yet. So, they are all waiting to see when the pension will be increased. Now it seems that time is coming.

 

Women, Child and Disabled Welfare Minister Seethakka recently made a key announcement regarding pension. She said that the pension of the disabled will soon be increased to Rs. 6,000. The minister inaugurated the state-level sports competitions for the disabled held at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday on the occasion of International Day of Disabled Persons. On this occasion, she spoke about the pension hike. She also said that the backlog jobs of the disabled will be filled.

 

Increase for the rest? The pension hike will not be only for the disabled. If it is increased there will be an increase for all types of pensioners. If you look at it that way, the increase will apply to everyone, including the elderly and beedi workers. Therefore, the pension hike has now become a key issue. The minister has not given clarity on the hike. He said very soon. He did not say when.

 

There is no possibility of an increase in December. Because there is no money to give to the remaining farmers for loan waiver and farmer assurance schemes. In that case, it will be difficult to increase the pension in December. It remains to be seen whether it will be given from January. By December 7, the Congress government will have been in power for a year. Therefore, if the pension is increased from January, it will be as if the promise given has been kept. If it is not increased, it will be as if the pensioners have been cheated. That is why they are waiting to see when the increase will be.

 

The coalition parties in AP have increased the pensions as promised in the elections. Even though the coalition government came to power in June, it has increased the pensions since April. With that, the pensioners in AP have expressed happiness. However, since the pensions have not been increased in Telangana, they are all waiting to see when the increase will be. If it is increased now, they will also express happiness.
