Young India Skills
University (YISU) admission process in Telangana is going on. Four courses have
been made available as part of the first phase. Eligible students should apply
by October 29.
The Young India Skills University (YISU) admissions process
which Telangana government has undertaken in the state with the most
prestigious world class standards is going on. You have to apply online.
When is the last date…?
Eligible students who want to join these courses have to
join by October 29. Apply through the official website of Young India Skills
University https://yisu.in, the university said. These courses will start from
4th November. These courses will be held at the Engineering Staff College of
India (ESCI) National Academy of Construction campuses at Gachibowli, Hyderabad
temporarily.
Details of courses….
In the first phase, Telangana Skills University is starting
three schools and four courses out of them.
Logistics and e-commerce, healthcare, school of
pharmaceuticals and life sciences have been started this year itself. Among
these, one can enroll in Warehouse Executive and Key Consignor Executive
courses under Logistics and E-Commerce School, Finishing Skills in Nursing
Excellence under Healthcare, Pharma Associate Program courses under
Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences.
Along with degree
courses of three to four years duration, diploma courses of one year duration
and certificate courses of three to four months duration are conducted in it.
New courses have been selected according to the future needs
of various sectors and industries that are developing in Telangana. A total of
17 priority sectors have been identified.
Pharma, construction, banking finance services, e-commerce
and logistics, retail, animation, visual effects, gaming and comics.
Each course is linked to the participation of a well-known
company in the respective field. In this regard, the government will enter into
an MoU with the companies.
Starting with the freshers in the first year...gradually 20
thousand people will be admitted in these courses every year.
Eminent industrialist Anand Mahindra has been appointed as
the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Young India Skill University
established by the Telangana Government. Anand Mahindra will be in this post
for one year.
