Fire Accident: Massive fire, charred vehicles, heavy damage at Abids unofficial firework shop
A fire broke out in an informal firework shop in Abids, Hyderabad, resulting in heavy property damage. On Sunday night, during the sales in the shop, the fire broke out and burnt the shop. A nearby hotel was also burnt down in this incident.
A huge fire broke out
in Boggula Kunta under Hyderabad Abids on Sunday night. An explosion at Paras
firework shop caused a huge fire. People ran in fear as the fire spread to a
nearby hotel. As the incident took place during the night sales, everyone was
worried.
The firemen reached the spot and controlled the fire with
three fire extinguishers. More than ten two-wheelers were burnt in this
incident. Locals were panicked as the fire broke out with loud explosions. The
injured woman was taken to the hospital.

Gurvinder Singh of Bashir Bagh has set up a Paras Fireworks
shop at Hanuman Tikti. As it was Sunday, buyers came in large numbers.
Eyewitnesses said that while everyone was shopping, the firecrackers in the
store exploded one after the other. The tapas in the shop caught fire in
moments, making loud noises, and suddenly the fire broke out.
Concerned buyers and locals ran away. The fire spread to the
Tiffin Center next door, gutting the equipment inside. A woman was injured in
this incident. Two staff working in the shop sustained minor injuries. Up to
ten two-wheelers were burnt in the fire. Five fire tenders rushed to the spot
and brought the fire under control.
The staff working in the shop said that the fire started
when the embers came from outside and fell into the shop. Police are
investigating the incident. The tapas shop set up in Abids is not permitted,
police said.
